211111-N-CE120-1001 EBEYE, Marshall Islands (Nov. 11, 2021) U.S. Navy Seabees with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 pose for a picture with the Kwajalein Atoll government; local students; and Roxanne Cabral, the U.S. ambassador of Marshall Islands, at the police station project site at Ebeye, Marshall Islands. The U.S. Navy Seabees assigned to NMCB-5 are helping the Marshallese build a police station for the local government in Marshall Islands. NMCB-5 is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific, strengthening their network of alliances and partnerships, and providing general engineering and civil support to joint operational forces. Homeported out of Port Hueneme, California, NMCB-5 has 13 detail sites deployed throughout the U.S. and Indo-Pacific area of operations.
