211104-N-CE120-1005 KWAJALEIN ATOLL, Marshall Islands (Nov. 4, 2021) Equipment Operator 2nd Class Brandon Blevins, with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5, backs up an 11k forklift on Ebeye Island, Marshall Islands. The Seabees with NMCB-5 worked with the U.S. Army to transport Civil Engineer Construction Equipment on a U.S. Army Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM 8609) vessel. The Seabees are supporting the local Marshallese government and assisting with the construction of a new police station. NMCB-5 is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific, strengthening their alliances and partnerships, and providing general engineering and civil support to joint operational forces.
