211104-N-CE120-1004 KWAJALEIN ATOLL, Marshall Islands (Nov. 4, 2021) U.S. Navy Seabees with Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 5 work with local Marshallese to offload an 11k forklift on Ebeye Island, Marshall Islands. The Seabees with NMCB-5 worked with the U.S. Army to transport Civil Engineer Construction Equipment on a U.S. Army Landing Craft Mechanized (LCM 8609) vessel. The Seabees are supporting the local Marshallese government and assisting with the construction of a new police station. NMCB-5 is deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations, supporting a free and open Indo-Pacific, strengthening their alliances and partnerships, and providing general engineering and civil support to joint operational forces.
