An Iraqi youth practices throwing a baseball to his teammate during a baseball game July 29 with Soldiers from the 416th Civil Affairs Battalion, an Army Reserve unit from Norristown, Pa. Soldiers from the 416th are teaching a group of Iraqi children from Al Kush, Iraq, a village approximately 50 km from Mosul, to play the game of baseball. The children received a general explanation of the rules of baseball and instruction on basic skills such as throwing, catching and hitting. The 416th Youth Soccer and Sports committee is promoting youth sports in the rural areas of northern Iraq by working with local coaches and youth to provide equipment and training. (Photo by Spc.
