Rogers enlisted in the Navy as part of the Professional Apprenticeship Career Tracks (PACT) program and earned the Machinist’s Mate rating at the event, April 11, 2022. The Fleet Engagement Team, consisting of enlisted community managers, rating specialists and detailers from NPC, worked one-on-one with PACT Sailors in Japan to provide career counseling, designate ratings and negotiate orders on site.
