Black enlisted in the Navy in 2020 as part of the Professional Apprenticeship Career Tracks (PACT) program and earned the Yeoman rating at the event, April 14, 2022.
“I instantly told my mom,” said Black. “This was a great process. I’m just happy and I’m excited to go do my job.”
The Fleet Engagement Team, consisting of enlisted community managers, rating specialists and detailers from NPC, worked one-on-one with PACT Sailors in Japan to provide career counseling, designate ratings and negotiate orders on site.
