KruegaRochabrun enlisted in the Navy in 2019 as part of the Professional Apprenticeship Career Tracks (PACT) program and earned the Personnel Specialist (PS) rating at the event, April 14, 2022.
“I liked the program because it lets you see and choose from the rates,” KruegaRochabrun said. “I got to do OJT [on-the-job training] and that’s how I learned that I actually like being a PS.”
The Fleet Engagement Team, consisting of enlisted community managers, rating specialists and detailers from NPC, worked one-on-one with PACT Sailors in Japan to provide career counseling, designate ratings and negotiate orders on site.
