JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii (July 19, 2022) Members from the 25th Infantry Division Hui Ha’a perform a traditional Hawaiian performance, portraying the skill and discipline of the Pacific warrior, during the U.S. Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) change of command ceremony aboard the USS Missouri. The Ha’a celebrates the spirit of Hawaiian Koa, or the warrior, and embodies the virtues of Aloha, Courage, Unity, Loyalty and Mana. During the ceremony, U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Joshua M. Rudd was relieved by U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Jeromy B. Williams as SOCPAC commander. SOCPAC is committed to strengthening our foundation, relationships, and interoperability with our partners and Allies, while maintaining flexibility to respond rapidly to emerging threats in support of a free and open IndoPacific.
