U.S. military personnel and civilians assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) move a large root ball during an underwater recovery mission in Papua New Guinea Sept. 01, 2022. DPAA personnel arrived to conduct an underwater excavation operation in an effort to find a U.S. aircraft crew lost over Papua New Guinea during World War II.
