U.S. Coast Guard DV2 Allen Jones, a Coast Guard diver assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), hugs a local woman during an underwater recovery mission in Wewak, Papua New Guinea on Oct. 07, 2022. DPAA personnel arrived to conduct an underwater excavation operation in an effort to find a U.S. aircraft crew lost over Papua New Guinea during World War II.
