U.S. Navy Petty Officer First Class Griffin Nosenzo, an explosive ordnance disposal technician assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA), disconnects a ratchet strap during an underwater recovery mission in Wewak, Papua New Guinea, Oct. 03, 2022. DPAA personnel conducted an underwater excavation operation in an effort to find a U.S. aircraft crew lost over Papua New Guinea during World War II.
