An Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, volunteer Airman counts the push-ups of a U.S. Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadet from Southern High School, Guam, during the Guam JROTC Fitness Challenge hosted at John F. Kennedy, Guam, Feb. 25, 2023. The Guam JROTC Fitness challenge was created by Senior Enlisted Airmen from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. This is the second annual event with seven schools competing against each other. Although there are winners for the challenge, the ultimate goal of the challenge is to allow volunteers from both Andersen AFB and Naval Base Guam to mentor the cadets on the importance of physical fitness.
