A U.S. Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadet from John F. Kennedy High School, Guam, participates in the sit-up challenge during the 2nd annual JROTC Fitness Challenge hosted at JFKHS, Feb. 25, 2023. The Guam JROTC Fitness challenge was created by Senior Enlisted Airmen from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. This event hosted seven schools with 11 teams consisting of 10 members in each team. Although there were winners for the challenge, the ultimate goal of the challenge is to allow volunteers from both Andersen AFB and Naval Base Guam to mentor the cadets on the importance of staying physically fit.
