A U.S. Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadet from John F. Kennedy High School, Guam, participates in the sit-up challenge during the 2nd annual JROTC Fitness Challenge hosted at JFKHS, Feb. 25, 2023. The Guam JROTC Fitness Challenge was created by Senior Enlisted Airmen from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, designed to combat the fitness issue that some cadets face. According to these Airmen, cadets are provided a full scholarship through the ROTC program, but lose it when they fail the fitness requirements.
