USAID Mission Director Scott Dobberstein met with Tunisian Africa Leaders Summit civil society participants to hear about their experience in the US and their key takeaways from the visit. They appreciated the opportunities to network with other activists, noting that, in many cases, they can learn from the experiences of people from Sub-Saharan Africa. Additionally, USAID’s MA3AN activity (which supported their travel to Washington, DC) will work with activists to identify opportunities to collaborate and promote civic engagement and inclusion of persons with disabilities throughout the country.
