In partnership with the Tunisian Stock Exchange, the Tunisian Equity Investment Association, and the Tunisian government's investment fund Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, USAID developed the online platform JoussourInvest to help Tunisian small businesses secure financing after the drastic economic contraction caused by COVID-19. Launched in September 2020, JoussourInvest connects Tunisian small businesses with investors and has facilitated more than $15 million in new investments. With more than 2,000 companies and 50 private investors registered, the platform is now one of the largest and most active online investment sites in Tunisia.
