230418-N-ML137-1070 KEKAHA, Hawai‘i (April 18, 2023) An assortment of 20th century bottles, historical artifacts from the cultural resources department at Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF), Barking Sands, were commonly used on the island of Kaua‘i. Elements of each bottle offer a distinct dating period as to what year they’re from due to material, embossment, shape of bottle, etc. PMRF is the world’s largest instrumented multi-environment range capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air and space operations simultaneously.
