Command Sgt. Maj. Ethan Dunbar, command sergeant major, 19th Engineer Battalion, Fort Knox, Ky., addresses soldiers Nov. 13 from the 431st Quartermaster Detachment, an Army Reserve unit from Kinson, N.C., at Fort Hamilton, N.Y. The unit will deploy Nov. 13 into Breezy Point, N.Y., to conduct water removal operations as a result of Hurricane Sandy. The 19th Engineer Battalion is in command of various Department of Defense units responsible for providing support to areas most effected by the storm.
