Soldiers from the 401st Quartermaster Detachment, Lock Haven, P.a., utilized milk crates and window screens to filter debris from entering six inch hoses Nov. 13 that are pumping water out of a residential area in Breezy Point, N.Y. Despite working in difficult weather conditions, the 401st Quartermaster Detachment removed water from areas most effected by Hurricane Sandy. Once the water is removed, necessary work will begin to restore utilities to the area.
