Mr. Tim Disher, Director of International Programs, gave DPAA leadership a tour of Hopper Hall, named for Rear Adm. Grace Hopper, an accomplished mathematician who joined the U.S. Navy Reserve during World War II. Hopper Hall building will be home to midshipmen in the Cyber Operations; Computer Engineering; Computer Science; Electrical Engineering; Information Technology; and Robotics and Control Engineering majors, as well as to laboratories for Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering and Physics majors in Annapolis, Md., Aug. 16, 2023.
DPAA leadership explored the U.S. Naval Academy campus, and held productive discussions with Mr. Tim Disher, Director of International Programs, and Dr. Maria (MJ) Pallotta, Director of the Center for Experiential Leadership Development (ELD), LEAD Division. Their focus: revitalizing the Midshipman Short Term Individual Augmentee (STIA) program for upcoming DPAA recovery missions.
