Mr. Joseph Jaska, executive vice president, USA Truck Inc., accepts the annual Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award, the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers for their outstanding support of employees serving in the Guard and Reserve, during a ceremony Aug. 30 at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. USA Truck was one of 15 employers selected from 1,863 nominations this year to receive the prestigious award. Nominated by Army National Guard Staff Sgt. Jordan Ray, USA Truck provides trucking and USAT logistics operating segments blend an extensive portfolio of asset and asset-light services, offering a balanced approach to supply chain management including customized truckload, dedicated contract carriage, intermodal and third-party logistics freight management services.
