Sgt Joshua Farol, an Emergency Management (146 CEX) Airman assigned to the 146th Civil Engineer Squadron, practice clearing and securing a room during an exercise at the Oxnard College Fire Academy and the Ventura County Fire Department training center, Camarillo, California, Sept. 8-9, 2023. 146 SFS and 146 CEX members received integrated training and practice on different methods to clear rooms and buildings, strengthening communication between units and learning skills outside of their primary duty.
