U.S. Air National Guard Staff Sgt. Efren Quintero, assigned to the 146th Security Forces Squadron (146 SFS), practices clearing a two-story building as part of a fire team, during a multi-unit training exercise with Emergency Management Flight (146 CEX) Airmen from the 146th Civil Engineer Squadron under an alternate spoke of Operation Crisis Beach, at the Oxnard College Fire Academy and the Ventura County Fire Department training center, Camarillo, California, Sept. 8-9, 2023. 146 SFS Defenders were able to sharpen their skills while sharing what they know with the 146 CEX Airmen, while learning how to effectively communicate and integrate with them, who among other specialties are proficient in Chemical Biological Radiological or Neurological (CBRN) response, to be able to build more proficient processes.
