U.S. Air National Guard Emergency Management Flight (146 CEX) members assigned to the 146th Civil Engineer Squadron, Senior Airman Jessica Reeves (Left), and Airman 1st Class Chun Yu (Right), participate in a multi-unit exercise with the 146th Security Forces Squadron, where they are responding to a potential Chemical Biological Radiological or Neurological (CBRN) hazard at the Oxnard College Fire Academy and the Ventura County Fire Department training center, Camarillo, California, Sept. 8-9, 2023. Working as a small mobile team, the EM Airmen used their equipment to help identify and characterize chemical warfare agents in the field, enabling data-driven leaders to support mission continuation decisions.
