U.S. Air National Guard Emergency Management Flight (CEX) members assigned to the 146th Civil Engineer Squadron, Senior Airman Jessica Reeves (Left), Airman 1st Class Samantha Martinez (Center) and Airman 1st Class Chun Yu (Right), participate in a multi-unit exercise with the 146th Security Forces Squadron, where they simulate responding to a potential Chemical Biological Radiological or Neurological (CBRN) hazard at the Oxnard College Fire Academy and the Ventura County Fire Department training center, Camarillo, California, Sept. 8-9, 2023. Working as a small mobile team, the 146 CEX Airmen used their equipment to help identify and characterize simulated chemical warfare agents in the field, enabling data-driven leaders to support mission continuation decisions.
