Three U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules aircraft, with the 37th Airlift Squadron, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, sit on the flightline with two 182nd Airlift Wing, Illinois Air National Guard, aircraft at 33rd Air Base, Poland, in support of Aviation Detachment Rotation 23-4, Sept. 12, 2023. The U.S. is able to maintain a global presence through the combined efforts of our active and National Guard Partners which is critical in building a strong foundation with strategic access to respond to threats against the U.S. and NATO allies and partners. ADR 23-4 is a bilateral training exercise with the Polish air force designed to enhance allied interoperability, maintain joint readiness, and assure regional allies of NATO capabilities.
