U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Braden Crabtree, 86th Operation Support Squadron air traffic control complex watch supervisor and Cross Functional Airlift Support Personnel, moves container delivery system in preparation for palletization at 33rd Air Base, Poland, in support of Aviation Detachment Rotation 23-4, Sept. 13, 2023. CASPER was initiated with the introduction of Agile Combat Employment, with multi-capable airmen who are equipped with a wide array of skills to aid in minimizing the amount of personnel and resources in deployed locations. Exercises such as ADR 23-4 allow the U.S. to enhance these skill sets while enhancing allied interoperability, maintain joint readiness, and assure regional allies of NATO capabilities.
