Religious services take place in a Camp McCoy Chapel in 1951. There were nine post chapels and one hospital chapel open at McCoy in 1951, with a total of 21 services conducted each Sunday. Eighteen weekly Catholic Masses, two weekday Protestant services, one Jewish service, and one Lutheran service were held. The total attendance from Nov. 5, 1950, to June 24, 1951, was 74,862. For a total of 34 Sundays, the average attendance was 2,202. The total attendance from Jan. 1, 1950, to June 24, 1951, was 63,864 For a total of 25 Sundays the average attendance was 2,255. Five-hundred Character Guidance lectures were held during the period of Oct. 1, 1950, to June 30, 1950, with a total attendance of 97,778. The post was authorized 18 chaplains and had 12 assigned.
