Chief selects sing Anchors Away during the FY 13 chief petty officers (CPO) pinning ceremony held on the forecastle of guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89). The newest CPO's received their gold anchors after senior leadership spoke about the significance of the insignia, the title and the responsibility of the promotion. Mustin is forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan as part of Destroyer Squadron 15 and is currently on patrol in the Western Pacific.
