The chief petty officers (CPO) mess of guided missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89) poses for a group photo on the ship's forecastle following the ship's FY 13 CPO pinning ceremony. Mustin inducted six CPO's into the chief's mess, who received their gold anchors after senior leadership spoke about the significance of the insignia, the title and the responsibility of the promotion. Mustin is forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan as part of Destroyer Squadron 15 and is currently on patrol in the Western Pacific.
