Chief Electronics Technician Susan Cash, assigned to guided-missile destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89), receives her cover during the FY 13 chief petty officer (CPO) pinning ceremony on the ship's forecastle. Mustin inducted six CPO's into the chief's mess, who received their gold anchors after senior leadership spoke about the significance of the insignia, the title and the responsibility of the promotion. Mustin is forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan as part of Destroyer Squadron 15 and is currently on patrol in the Western Pacific.
