U.S. Marine Corps Staff Sgt. Travis Fleming, Marine Corps Instructor of Water Survival (MCIWS), U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific (MARFORPAC), conducts a safety briefing prior to the start of the basic swim qualification at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii, Feb. 27, 2024. MARFORPAC MCIWS trained Marines from bases around the island through basic and intermediate swim qualifications to fulfill their swim qualification requirements during this multiple-hour exercise.
