U.S. Marines and Sailors with Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 12, 1st Marine Air Wing (MAW), III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) MAG-13, 3rd MAW, I MEF, and Carrier Air Wing 5, Carrier Strike Group 5, Flagship USS Ronald Reagan, participate in a pre-flight brief with Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) personnel with Air Rescue Squadron 71, at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, June 26, 2024. Marines and Sailors observed JASDF personnel as they performed search and rescue, disaster relief, and touch-and-go drills.
