Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) personnel with Air Rescue Squadron 71 demonstrate search and rescue drills from a JASDF US-2 aircraft for U.S. Marines and Sailors with Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 12, 1st Marine Air Wing (MAW), III Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF), MAG-13, 3rd MAW, I MEF, and Carrier Air Wing 5, Carrier Strike Group 5, Flagship USS Ronald Reagan, on the Pacific Ocean, June 26, 2024. Marines and Sailors observed JASDF personnel as they performed search and rescue, disaster relief, and touch-and-go drills.
