LITTLETON, Co. (Aug. 8, 2024) – Strategic Systems Programs Project Management Office for Flight Systems (SPF) Commanding Officer Capt. Michael Woehrman (center) is rung aboard during SPF's change of command. Cmdr. Christopher Tilley, the former Weapons Officer at Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific, took command during the ceremony which marks longstanding tradition of passing leadership responsibilities in the Navy. SPF—one of SSP’s many field sites—provides the technical oversight and fleet support for the nation's sea-based strategic deterrent and equip the nation’s Warfighting Navy with safe, secure, reliable, and effective weapon systems. SSP is the Navy command that provides cradle-to-grave lifecycle support for the sea-based leg of the nation’s nuclear triad. (U.S. Navy Photo by Yeoman Submarine 2nd Class Alakai Merino/Released).
