Dr. Emily Lowery-Gionta, section chief of the Performance Assessment and Chemical Evaluation Laboratory, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, gives a presentation about the application of the iCOVER intervention in a civilian trauma center population, during the annual Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS) conference, Kissimmee, Florida, August 28, 2024. MHSRS, which is the Department of Defense’s premier military medical science research conference, was attended by over 4,000 people from the military, academia, private industry, and international organizations. Many researchers from WRAIR shared their research during breakout sessions and poster sessions, with four of them winning first place, second place, third place, and honorable mention for their posters.
