U.S. Army Maj. Rachell Jones, chief of the operational research team for the Center for Military Psychiatry and Neuroscience, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, speaks about her research on the effects of timing of physical training on sleep, fatigue, and performance in Soldiers, during a poster session at the annual Military Health System Research Symposium (MHSRS) conference, Kissimmee, Florida, August 27, 2024. MHSRS, which is the Department of Defense’s premier military medical science research conference, was attended by over 4,000 people from the military, academia, private industry, and international organizations. Many researchers from WRAIR shared their research during breakout sessions and poster sessions, with four of them winning first place, second place, third place, and honorable mention for their posters. MAJ Jones won second place in poster session 3 for her poster.
