Salt Community College Culinary Institute students and Utah National Guard Soldiers display their final dishes during the 2024 Veterans Day Culinary Competition in Sandy, Utah, Nov. 9, 2024. The event was held with Soldiers of the 1896th Quartermasters Platoon and students of the Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) Culinary Institute. Participants exercised their cooking capabilities in a challenging and fast paced environment and built stronger relationships between the Utah National Guard and the SLCC Culinary Institute.
