William Stevenson, operations chief for the Incident Management Assistance Team for the Federal Emergency Management Agency, discusses interagency planning for a domestic catastrophic event, March 5, 2013, during a Joint Task Force Civil Support-hosted table top exercise at Fort Eustis, Va. The three-day exercise is intended to allow federal and state military and other federal response organizations to “share knowledge and insight” and “enhance coordination” across agencies, including JTF-CS, the Defense Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Response Force and the CBRN Response Enterprise. The Fort Eustis-based JTF-CS provides command and control for Department of Defense chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear response forces.
