    YIGO, Guam (Jan. 21, 2024) - Dean Cabe, a Safety Specialist with the Office in Charge of Construction (OICC), advises construction workers prepping chains and grappling during a load test in January.

    Cranes are among the most potentially lethal pieces of equipment on a construction site. More than twenty cranes are in operation on the site of Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz a daily basis.
    The Office in Charge of Construction (OICC) Marine Corps Marianas is responsible for ensuring that each crane and crew undergo load testing before using a crane for regular project work.
