Capt. Craig Zoellner, the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s adjutant, recites Gen. A. Lejeune’s birthday message as part of the 11th MEU’s Marine Corps Ball ceremony here Nov. 9. Every year, Marines all around the world host a Marine Corps Ball celebrating the day the Marine Corps was first established. It is tradition that during the ceremony the adjutant recites Gen. John A. Lejeune’s birthday message to all in attendance.
