Personnel deployed in support of Joint Forces Command – United Assistance gathered together for the Christmas Eve candlelight service held on Barclay Training Center, Monrovia, Liberia. This service was among many held across the JFC-UA area of operations to allow service members and DoD personnel the opportunity to celebrate and observe the holidays. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
