Soldiers attached to the 58th Signal Company, 101st Sustainment Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), are awarded the Air Assault streamer by Maj. Gen. Gary Volesky and Command Sgt. Maj. Gregory Nowak, Dec. 25, 2014, Buchanan, Liberia. Volesky visited Buchanan, as well as other camps spread across Liberia, to wish Soldiers a merry Christmas and to congratulate them for their service in support of Operation United Assistance. United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
