SAN DIEGO (April 8, 2015) Quatermaster Seaman Dimitri Walker monitors surface contacts from the bridge during sea and anchor detail aboard Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Essex is underway participating in a certification exercise (CERTEX) with the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), which is comprised of Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) THREE and 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
