A U.S. Marine calculates the explosive force of four M1A1 Bangalore Torpedoes connected together April 23, during Exercise Balikatan 2015 at Crow Valley, Philippines. The Bangalore is used to clear obstacles that block movement for ground units, such as wire or vegetation. Balikatan is an annual bilateral training exercise with the Philippines aimed at enhancing readiness, military-to-military relations, territorial defense, humanitarian assistance and disaster response operations. The Marines are with Combat Assault Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Devon Tindle/Released)
