Philippine marines fire the 105 mm howitzer M3 at simulated hostile threats April 26, during Exercise Balikatan 2015 at Crow Valley, Philippines. The howitzer is a long range weapon used for fire support for ground troops at a max range of 7,585 meters. Balikatan is an annual bilateral training exercise with the Philippines aimed at enhancing readiness, military-to-military relations, territorial defense, humanitarian assistance and disaster response operations.
