Nancy Loo, reporter for Chicago’s WGN-TV news, conducts a tandem jump with Sgt. 1st Class Jon Ewald, Instructor/Videographer, Tandem Team, U.S. Army Parachute Team, 'Golden Knights' during a tandem camp held in Ottawa, Ill., Aug. 12.
Loo was there with 13 other participants, including her daughter Aubrey, who participated in a tandem jump with the team there. Participants jumped from 13,000 feet at Sky Dive Chicago. The 'Golden Knights', based at Fort Bragg, N.C., offered local Chicago land educators, media, and government officials the opportunity to experience jumping from a plane, rushing 2.5 miles to the ground at 120 miles per hour.
