Drill instructors of Fox Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, yell at a recruit for not following directions during a Marine Corps Martial Arts Program session at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Nov. 30. Drill instructors walk around and assist recruits in case they have trouble with executing one of the techniques. The recruits are given time to practice each technique and ask questions if they have any. Today, all males recruited west of the Mississippi are trained at MCRD San Diego. The depot is responsible for training more than 16,000 recruits annually. Fox Company is scheduled to graduate Jan. 29.
