Gunnery Sgt. Brandon J. Zettlemoyer, drill instructor, India Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, checks the length of a recruit’s web belt during a series commander inspection at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Feb. 8. Recruits are given classes on uniform standards and are expected to maintain those standards throughout training. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruit from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. India Company is scheduled to graduate March 11.
