Cadet Jacob Langley from Abraham Lincoln High School in Denver, Colo., looks at his monitor during the 2016 JROTC National Air Rifle Championship in Anniston, Ala., on March 19. Abraham Lincoln High School is an Army affilliate and one of the 73 schools that sent 56 teams as well as numerous individual shooters representing the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps air rifle teams for all four U.S. Armed Forces. Teams and individuals shot their way through various local and regional competitions in order to qualify for this culminating event. Each shooter has a screen that allows them to see where their shots hit on the small 45.5 centimeter target some 10 meters (33 feet) away.
